Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine


Every year during the July school holidays the museum runs the Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine event, attracting more than 10,000 visitors each year.

This years 'Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine' school holidays event is being held from the 12th - 20th of July, and features stage performances with the Fat Controller, CircKidz acrobats, amusements rides and face painting, Dan Burt, the Eddie White All Stars Jazz band, showbags, $2 train rides and much more. To go in the draw to win a free hire of the cafeteria car for a childrens birthday party for up to 20 children and 6 adults, children 8 years or younger can complete our colouring competition and lodge thier entry at the museum between the 12th and 20th July and gain free entry to the Friends of Thomas event (when accompanied by a fee paying adult), or by posting thier entry to: National Railway Museum PO Box 3153 Port Adelaide 5015.
