At the Museum

457 mm gauge train rides are available every day. When qualified drivers are available trains are steam hauled on Weekends and during School Holidays.

Semaphore to Fort Glanville Steam Railway

A magical two kilometre steam train ride along the dunes leaving from Semaphore Jetty to Point Malcolm and return.

The railway operates from September to April, daily during the School Holidays and on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Trains depart between 11am and 4pm at frequencies varied according to demand.

Note: No running at Semaphore if the forecast temperature for Adelaide is 35 degrees or above.
