Venue hire | Functions

The National Railway Museum doubles as Adelaide's unique venue hire facility, providing a distinctive environment to celebrate that special occasion, hold a networking event, launch a new book or product, or entertain conference guests at dinner.

The main pavilion accommodates 400 guests amongst steam and diesel locomotives of the past and elegant railway carriages representing train travel long gone.

For more intimate events a 1930s dining carriage seats groups of up to 46. Enjoy pre dinner drinks in the adjacent lounge carriage built in Germany in 1952.

A wedding reception at the Museum will provide an experience unlike any other venue in Adelaide.

Photographic opportunities abound for Weddings, Modelling Assignments, Art Students, Product Releases, Promotions, and the like.

The Museum has links with several professional caterers to suit your budget and theme. Alternatively event organisers are welcome to use their own caterers if they prefer.
