After the business session, a presentation of everyday images from the 1970s and 1980s will be displayed by Bob Sampson, from his extensive photographic collection.
Donation Appeal Diesel Locomotive 703
The National Railway Museum is in the process of aiming to acquire Diesel Locomotive 703, and is running a donation appeal to assist in this process. Please see the information PDF here for more information, and for instructions on how to donate. All donations towards this cause are greatly appreciated.
Behind the Scenes
Our Behind the Scenes event is coming up on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June. Come and have tours through the inside of some carriages which are normally closed to the public, and enjoy rides on the small train and our Bluebird Kestrel.

Please note that effective immediately, EFTPOS is the preferred transaction method at the National Railway Museum. We still accept cash as a method of payment but would prefer EFTPOS as the method of payment wherever possible.
